The luxurious residence is planned to be built in a perfectly flat plot somewhere in the Macedonian province. A 400 s.m. building area is developed in 2 levels. Absence of local building regulations allowed plain contemporary forms. Τhe building volume is playfully divided in four smaller volumes along the main facade axis. The pool is running in parallel to the same axis.
Although contemporary in form, materiality approach is traditional as volumes are mainly attributed in stone, a widely available material in many regions in Greece. Concrete, stone, corten and turqoise reflections alternate in the synthesis. The outdoor living spaces lying under the shade of the eye catching pergola are essential to the function of the typical mediterranean residence.
