The new commercial and mixed use building will be located in the entrance of Volos City, Greece. The plot lies on the beginning of Larisis Avenue, a hard and busy street because of the gathered commercial use buildings and its fast connection to the national highway. The area is consisted of old industrial buildings, often neglected or abandoned and a few newer buildings of the last 2 decades. It would hardly form an architectural character with which an architect could identify with. So a movement to create an identity with references to the existing conditions is being attempted. Either by accepting or by rejecting them.
